How to Prepare

Blood & Urine Tests
Fast for 6-8 hours before the appointment. Do not consume colored beverages. Drink only plain water.
Endoscopy (Stomach & Colon)
The evening before: eat dinner before 7:00 PM. Avoid high-protein foods and hard-to-digest fiber. From evening until morning, drink only plain water.
MRI, CT Scan & X-ray
Remove all metal objects from your body. Inform the doctor if you have a pacemaker, metal implants, or dental implants.
Abdominal Ultrasound
Drink plenty of water to fill your bladder. Do not urinate until after the ultrasound is completed.
For Women
Gynecology exam and urine test are not available during menstruation. Pregnant women cannot have X-ray or bone density scan.

Review all results with a doctor. Receive health advice and your full English-language health report.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the health checkup take?
The VVIP comprehensive package takes approximately 6-8 hours (a full day). You will be guided through each step by medical staff.
Do I need to fast before the checkup?
Yes. Please fast for 6-8 hours before your appointment. Drink only plain water. If your package includes endoscopy, eat dinner before 7 PM the night before.
Will my results be in English?
Yes. All test results and the final health report will be provided in English.
How soon will I get my results?
Most results are available same-day. Some specialised lab tests may take 3-5 business days. Your final comprehensive report is typically ready within 1-3 business days.
Can I book a same-day appointment?
We recommend booking at least 2 days in advance to ensure availability and proper preparation. Contact us for urgent requests.
Is the hospital easy to get to?
Hong Ngoc - Phuc Truong Minh is located in Nam Tu Liem district, approximately 20 minutes from Hanoi Old Quarter by car. We offer optional hotel pickup service.
What is ACHS accreditation?
ACHS (Australian Council on Healthcare Standards) International is a global healthcare quality accreditation body. Hong Ngoc was the first private hospital in Vietnam to receive this certification.
Are there different tests for men and women?
Yes. Women receive gynecology exam, Pap smear, breast ultrasound, mammography, and ovarian cancer markers. Men receive prostate cancer screening (PSA). All other tests are the same.
