The fastest way from Hanoi to Ha Giang is a daytime limousine van, which covers about 300 km in 6 to 7 hours for 300,000 to 450,000 VND (about 12 to 17 USD), while an overnight sleeper bus from 250,000 VND (about 10 USD) is the cheapest and a private car costs roughly 3.8 to 5.5 million VND per vehicle.
